Best Electric Toothbrush Set
Is my electric company ripping me off?
So I just moved into a new apartment, here are the details:
- 2 Bedroom/1 Bath
- ~1000 sq ft.
- Only electronics plugged in all month: Fridge, microwave, electric stove, electric water heater, electric A/C, washer/dryer, HDTV, DVD player, computer, iron, eletric shaver, eletric toothbrush.
- Run A/C 8 hours a day on average
- Water heater set at 140 degrees
My electric bills says I am at 900 kwh a month at 7.1 cents/kwh
I live alone and turn lights off and do my best to limit energy use, so why is my bill so high? I do not leave my computer running, I turn off the A/C when I am not sleeping, and rarely use the eletric stove.
I realize that I can buy a meter to measure the amount each eletronic uses, but I just want to know if 900 kwh a month sounds within reason given all the information I have provided?

be thankful… I’m doing 90 kwh a DAY…. times that by thirty, pal…. and it’s HOT here!…. we do all we can to conserve, too… but our house is bigger and there’s three of us…. so don’t gripe…. you’re in great shape…..and the cooler months are coming……
