Best Mouth Guard For Teeth Grinding
Can I use a nightguard post-wisdom teeth removal?
I just had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted a week and two days ago. Everything’s healed for the most part, but I still can’t open my mouth very wide. However there is still some slight bleeding. While showering an hour ago I spat out a miniscule amount of blood (very light, orange colored).
My question is whether it’s best to use my night guard for my nighttime grinding or to use gauze since I’m still experiencing some slight bleeding. Will gauze prevent me from grinding my teeth at night? I still bleed at night and the blood gets trapped inside my nightguard (very cheap from Target)
gauze will collect blood and get stuck to the wound….so will start to bleed when you remove it…
it is better to get a custom made night guard for good long-term result.
