Biting Teeth In Sleep
how can you help someone to stop gnashing their teeth in their sleep?
this happens often to someone i know. they will be falling asleep, and then their jaw will clack shut, sometimes repeatedly. this person knows they do this, and it hurts their jaw the next day if it happens a lot during the night. i have just been nudging them gently and reminding them to not bite, but this is not a solution. anyone know how to deal with this?
There are many dental braces out there, that you can get to wear on your teeth during the night to stop damage done to your teeth while gnashing them in your sleep, and will likely help their teeth to feel better in the morning. All that I can reccomend, since I’m not a dentist, is to have them go see a real dentist and tell them about the problem. I hope that I helped!
