I Suffer from Bruxism (Damn you stress!!)?
My bottom row of teeth and my upper molars are grinding down (Only I notice it; it’s not that bad) and it’s freaking me out. I don’t want it to get any worse or like the picture results that pop up when I Google it.
I have medical insurance through work and I haven’t made an appointment yet but have you suffered from bruxism and worn teeth? How did you fix it? What was the cost like? How was it in the long term?

Make sure you have dental insurance, dental offices dont except medical. Unless they are together and the same card. If your doing during the day, stop when you notice yourself doin it. If its at night, your will need a night mouth guard.
Either a store bought one or one made by your dentist. You can try a store bought one first, less costly, and if it doesnt seem to be working, ask your dentist. There is a type of night guard that your dentist can make, its called an NTI. I forget the whole name, its really long and dificult to pronounce.
But an NTI actually works better than a regular night guard, which lets you still grind, but you grind on the mouth piece and not your teeth. So after a while you will have to replace it. The NTI, the way its designed, stops your jaw muscles from cleaching and grinding side to side. You can ask your dentist about it to see if they offer it at their office.
Either way you should find a solution, im sure you dont want to grind your teeth away.
