Cosmetic Dentistry Veneers
Has anyone ever had cosmetic dentistry work?
I would like to get porcelain veneers to fix a gapped teeth smile. I’ve been thinking about doing this for 8 years now. I smile and look at my grill every night before I sleep and notice that I have gaps in the front and sides that I would like to fix. I’ve seen on YouTube videos of procedures– the before and after work. I’ve never heard anyone talk about what it’s like to have them after getting the work done. Does this cause pain, do they chip, do you have to use special dental care to take care of it?
I have veneers and after the procedure they were really sensitive (couldn’t eat or drink anything too hot or cold). It takes a couple of months for it to fully heal and you can go back to eating/drinking whatever you want. I wasn’t told to use any special dental care, just the usual brush and floss. I’ve never had mine chipped, but tooth chipping is possible with or without veneers if ur reckless.
Overall, I’m happy with them and they don’t cause me any trouble. Hope this helped, good luck!
