Dental Disclosing Tablets. Allergic Reaction. HELP?
Last night I used a Dental Disclosing tablet . It staines Plaque red.
Straight away my Tongue and Lips began to tingle and burn. I washed my mouth out with water
Thismorning my Lips are really dry and still tingling lots
could this be an allergic reaction HELP
Dont use any more of these tablets. Vaseline your lips to rehydrate them, and hopefully the tingling will stop. It should clear up and the tingling stop too. If it gets worse or doesnt get better in a day or two, go and see your dentist.
The main ingredient in Disclosing tablets is vegetable dye, often E131 but there are some other ingredients too.
You could ask your doctor to do an allergy test, and you will need to give them the box as to arrange samples of each of the ingredients.
