Questions for dental hygienist.?
What is your answer to these questions and could i ask my dental hygienist them.
1. Can i have a pair of new gloves and the pair you used on me.
2. Can i add you on facebook.
3. will you use your finger to hold back my cheek while polishing.
4. Will you do a TMJ and extra-oral exam.
5. do you have any pink mask or gloves you could wear while you work on me.
6. will you massage my gums.
7. will you use the ultra-sonic scaler on me.
8. will you floss behind my bonded retainer.
9. do you have to wear a mask.
10. can i gaze into your eyes while you clean my teeth.
11. will you surprise me with a the polish flavor
12. will you take impressions for whitening trays.
14. can you feel around my mouth to check for cancer.
15. will you use a toothbrush instead of the powered polisher.

Yes only to the first half of this question…the used pair will spread germs outside of the clinic

If needed (most likely not) , but there is no guarantee or commitment
4. Will you do a TMJ and extra-oral exam.
If needed (most of the time not, because it falls under the exam done by the dentist)
5. do you have any pink mask or gloves you could wear while you work on me.
They use a mask, period…they don’t get to choose the color of the available supplies.
6. will you massage my gums.
I don’t think so…
7. will you use the ultra-sonic scaler on me.

Preferably not, but if you do, you will not find anything in there…

No…that will be taken care of by the DA when you see the dentist for whitening treatment.
