Dental Splint
Dental splints?
I just got a splint yesterday to prevent me from grinding my teeth. I wore it all night last night and now my teeth are HURTING!!! My two front teeth are actually numb and hurt really bad when I went to take it off this morning. The Orthodontist said that it has to be snug so that it does not come off at night but good grief…. it hurts. Has anyone out there gotten a splint and had the same problem? Do I just need to get used to it or is it just to tight to begin with? Any suggestions would be great.
Give it a week or so; if it doesn’t get any better, have your orthodontist take a look at it.
