How can I get rid of puffy gums? (braces)?
before i got my braces, i had puffy gums all the time. it was only then when my dentist told me i was about to have gum disease that i started brushing seriously. i started flossing, using electric toothbrush, and mouthwash to try and make my teeth and gums better. the gums started to get better, and my teeth started getting better. however, i started getting lazy recently and i stopped flossing. my gums started getting puffy again, and i really dont want gum disease. i bought a waterpik machine 2 days ago to help me with the flossing and cleaning, but i havent seen any results yet. my next dentist appointment is sometime in august. how can i get my gums to be less puffy by then?
you need to massage your gums with your toothbrush. so when you brush your teeth , go in circular motions so you can massage you gums and brush at the same time. also when you get your braces off it will go away.
