What can you put in hand luggage?
I know electrical items are meant to be put in hold luggage, but what about electric toothbrushes, noise cancelling headphones and so on? Can they be carried in hand luggage?
Guideline for carry on at Heathrow airport:

Most airport have generally the same general guideline however check with your airline on what can and cannot be allowed and also the airport you are departing from as some have stricter rules.
I would suggest you check in your electric toothbrushes into your check in luggage and just take a normal toothbrush while on board, noise cancelling headphones are ok or buy those travelling earplugs which are light and easy to carry.
The most important part of carry on is that it should be light and practical and you do not want to carry too much weight in it and it would be better to leave most electrical items in your check in baggage to avoid the hassle at the security checks at the airport.
Remember you want to have a hassle free check in and safe flight, so the less you carry on board the better it is for you.
