Electric Toothbrush Gum Recede
Question about receded gums?
This is a long question-I’ve noticed the past couple of days that due to my over-enthusiastic brushing, my gums have receded a bit. I used to use a manual toothbrush, but due to the way I brushed, I caused my gums to recede on my inner teeth surfaces-now the roots are exposed. My roots are also slightly exposed on my outer tooth surfaces.
I’ve been using an electric toothbrush for the past month, as I felt using a manual brush wasn’t really getting the job done for me. I’m afraid i might be pressing too hard on my teeth and gums with it, and this might cause my gums to erode further. How can i brush at the point where my teeth and gums meet, with an electric toothbrush, in a way that i can get them clean, and yet not erode my gums? Answers are much appreciated.
AN ELECTRIC IS SAFE BECAUSE IT HAS SOFT BRISTLES AND WILL NEVER HARM THE GUMS UNLIKE SOME MEDIUM/ FIRM MANUAL TYPES
