Are electric toothbrushes bad for your teeth?
So, I bought an electric toothbrush and alcohol free mouthwash to help out my teeth and enamel – but have I taken the wrong steps? Are electric toothbrushes bad? I try not to scrub too hard, and I brush for 2 minutes in the morning and afternoon. Also – is alcohol a good thing to have in mouthwash? I’m trying to cut out junk food, as well. Also, I bought a water pik, which I suppose is good for plaque removal?And one more thing – is peanut butter bad for teeth? It’s very sticky and all, but it’s high in protein, so…..

Electric toothbrushes have been shown in every study, to remove more plague and do a better cleaning than does manual brushing. You will not hurt your teeth using one. Alcohol is not the greatest thing to have in mouthwashes as it will feel great initially but shortly afterward will dry out our mouth and without the saliva present, your bad breath will return.So alcohol free mouthwashes are longer lasting. As far a peanut butter ,although peanuts are healthy for your, most peanut butters have sugar in them and yes it will cling to your teeth. If eaten, it would be good to brush afterward. Good questions.
