Free Electric Toothbrush
Im going to fly for the first time, what should i know?
mostly im asking about security. how much in advance should i get to the airport (phx to mci) probably the only things ill be taking with me is my electric toothbrush, cell phone, some clothes, and maybe an mp3 player, are these things ok? how big can a carry one be? are airporst easy to navigate. can i just park at the airport and leave my car there for 10 days for free..or what? any other info would be helpful but these are the main things im concerned about
Any parking at the airport would not be free. You can call to find out the long term parking rate to see if it fits your budget. Everything you mentioned can be put in your carry on bag. If you have any lotion, liquid or gel to carry on, all these must be put in 3 oz bottles or less, all bottles must fit in one transparent quartz size zip-lock bag which you have to put in a bin separately while going through security. The lock you use for your check in bags must be the one approved by TSA. Your carry on bag should be no bigger than 30×18x8, you should check with your airline’s website to confirm. Airports are extremely easy to navigate, there are signs everywhere, and lots of people to ask. About one hour before you leave for the airport, either call or check on line to see if you flight is on time. Aim at arriving at the airport 2 hours before flight departure.
