Is the cost free for gum dental removal?
I was just wondering because I have a lot of gum, and it’s affecting my braces from closing my teeth. Is this procedure free, or do you actually have to pay? Does medicaid cover it?
It’s a procedure and most if not all procedures cost the patient money. The rule of thumb for dentists is: “Get paid for what you do.” I mean it’s gum surgery, even if it’s an elective gum surgery. What do you need? A gingivoplasty, gingivectomy, or a frenectomy or a combination of both? Those will all cost something, how much depends on the dentist.
