What happens if you get Pro-White teeth whitening gel on your gums?
Ok, I have this clear gel in a small tube called Pro-White. It says it “uses oxygenating action just like your dentist”… Anyway, it says you shouldn’t get it on your gums and if you do, wipe it off right away. The thing is, I’ve found that the best results I get are when I actually put it on my electric toothbrush and let the brush rub it in to the surface of my teeth. Naturally, when I do that, gel flows around and gets on my gums – and I’m sure my toothbrush has been right against the gums as well while doing this.
So… my question is… What will happen if this stuff keeps getting on my gums and I don’t wipe it off right away? Will my gums get pale or will there be damage to the tissue? I don’t imagine it can be dangerous because then the company would get sued constantly. But I’d like to know what to expect if I keep doing it.
There could be some gum irritation just brush your teeth with it and wipe it off after your done brushing.
