Immediate Dentures

After 6 weeks my dentures still ache my gums. What can I do?

Due to needs I had several teeth extracted over 6 weeks ago. My dentures which are immediate(temporary) continue to cause my upper gums great pain. I still can not eat regular foods and I am be side myself. What can I do.

You need to call the office and schedule an appointment to have the dentures adjusted… it’ll relieve the pain. Didn’t they tell you this (sore spots) would occur and you’d need to return for the adjustments? …..and the adjustment fee is, or should be, included in the denture fee.

Feel better!
