Are mouth guards absolute protection??
I just thought about how in kung fu and my tooth was broken in half, yes I wasn’t wearing a mouth guard; but what if your teeth aren’t straight and one sticks out and when you are hit in the mouth the mouth guard material pushes against the protruding tooth and causes it to break anyway. And also I don’t see how if Bruce Lee got a free hit straight at anyones mouth with a mouthguard on even, how the force of his hit wouldn’t transfer through the mouth guard and knock all of your teeth out? Please help, I want to keep the rest of my teeth.
A mouthguard is like a seatbelt. Not 100%. If you want go to the dentist and ask for a custom mouthguard. It will cost alot more, but will fit perfectly and be better than the store bought ones. Good luck.
