Oral B Electric Toothbrush 5000 Series
Best electric toothbrush?
I’m looking to buy a new electric toothbrush and I’m not sure which one to get. I don’t really care too much about the cost, as long as it’s the best toothbrush now and for a while. Right now I’m thinking mainly between the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Plus and the Oral-B Professional Care Smart Series 5000.
I’ve used a cybersonic toothbrush for the past 7 years and it’s okay but nothing special. I’ve wanted to replace it for a while now, but haven’t had the money until now. I don’t have sensitive teeth or gums and I have good overall dental health.
Has anybody tried both of those toothbrushes or can anybody find any reviews of both by a reputable source? Otherwise does anybody know of any other toothbrushes that are better?

I’d go with Sonicare because many dentists recommend it. In fact, my friend’s father (who’s a dentist) gives one to every single patient for free because he genuinely does think it helps with oral hygiene. It’s definitely the most expensive electric toothbrush I’ve ever had but I love it. You can literally FEEL that your teeth are cleaner.
I don’t have any experience with the Oral-B one so I can’t comment.
