Oral B Electric Toothbrush Technique

Advice for bleeding gums?

Hey there,

So I’ve rarely flossed throughout my life, but I’ve started recently (err..this morning) and MAN the space between my teeth hurt! And they’re bleeding like crazy. I was just wondering if proper flossing will reverse this issue and stop the pain/bleeding/slight swelling? My gums aren’t beginning to recede or anything.

Oh, and yes I use proper brushing techniques with my oral-b electric toothbrush.

On a side note: any really good over-the-counter whitening products out there?

Thanks guys and gals!

I hook u up 10 points!

It sounds like you have gingivitis. Flossing will reverse the problem. The bleeding, pain and swelling will be gone in 2 weeks with daily flossing and, unless you have periodontal disease, the tissue will be healthy again.
