Prevent Teeth Grinding At Night
Will using a rubber football teeth protector harm teeth, if you use it all night (to avoid grinding teeth)?
My husband grinds his teeth at night and to prevent this he got a cheap, rubber football teeth protecting thing that he wears on his teeth all night. I’m worried this may affect his teeth somehow, as if he was wearing corrective braces or something, and twist his teeth in a bad way. What do you think? Thanks so much.
The sports guards you get at the stores are not snug enough to cause any twisting of the teeth…. In fact, when folks don’t want to spend the $$$ on the professional ones, we recommend the sports guards as something is better than nothing!
