Bruxism/teeth grinding and veneers?

I grind my teeth in my sleep. I want veneers to cover up the damage. However, I know I won’t wear a bite guard every single night. How likely is a veneer to break if I don’t wear a bite guard one night? Or if I chew on ice?

It’s possible; but I’d be more worried about the remainder of your regular teeth if you won’t use the protectional bitesplint every single night.
