What can I do to prevent myself from grinding my teeth?
I am grinding my teeth. I purchased a mouthpiece from the Pharmacist but forget to put it in at night. My teeth are aching now. What can I do besides going to the dentist.
The habitual clencing and grinding of the teeth, often causing excessive tooth wear or tooth fracture is called BRUXISM,and this is what is happening to you.If you dont go to see a dentist ,this habit will not go away alone, so is up to you what to do.I work as a dental nurse in Ireland, and my dentist is charging €250….for one of them.I dont know how much is there or if you can have acces to a public hospital, but here to get an appointment takes over 6 months.My advise DO, go to the dentist, the damages is not worthing.Good luck.
