What type of toothbrush is better for braces?
Which is better: A manual ordinary toothbrush or an electric toothbrush?
I’m getting braces in 3 weeks and want to know which is better to use?
I currently use an Oral-B electric toothbrush..
Would the electric toothbrush knock off any of the brackets or damage them?
I’ve had braces for about two weeks now and I use 2 manual toothbrushes. One soft, and one medium. I also have a waterpik. It is a great investment, only about 30 bucks. I know at first you won’t want to use an electric toothbrush because your teeth are going to be soo sore for the first week. I couldn’t bite down without it hurting. Maybe after about two weeks you could use an electric. But make sure you keep manual ones on hand for when you get your braces tightened.
